Reproduce:
Install Trisquel 7.0 GNOME ISO, and install from the "Install" graphical ubiquity interface from the live desktop. I had "Download updates during install" selected.
Went into the Update Manager in System Settings (GNOME), and it showed me the following message:
New updated software has been issued since Ubuntu 7.0 was released. Do you want to install it now?
"since Ubuntu 7.0 was released"
- This is a bug.
However, the list of actual updates was normal. I was able to update my system as expected.
