Hello !
This is a wishlist suggestion. I would find it very usefull if you could port "LXQT"
The Lightweight Qt Desktop Environment into Trisquel. I am not really aware of the content of the code if it's fully free or not, maybe someone could review that ?
The project is located on http://lxqt.org/
Similar Desktop environment LXDE is already in Trisquel.
Kind regards,
Jan
I asked about the license on their support channel:
Q: I wonder is any of the LXQT code non-free software ? I am asking regarding the inclusion of it into a free software distribution.
A:
<+palinek> AFAIK everything is LGPL/GPL
<+agaida> nope - some little parts are WTFPL-2 and BSD-3-clause
<+agaida> and the GPL forbid us to integrate a blocker for parabola or gnewsense
