After last update Trisquel splash loads fine on boot, though it seems however to be causing problems to shut down system/laptop and to reboot. After selecting shut down or reboot, system seems to actually shut down but laptop keeps on (lights keep on). If you intended to reboot, it will not (it remains as on shut down, with lights on). You need to manually shut down using the laptop button. Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A300 with Radeon HD 3400 Series. Besides, there is no splash on shutting down (just blank screen). As before, removing "quiet splash" from grub.cfg allows normal shut down and reboot.
A further observation: when you remove "quiet splash" from grub.cfg, you can not see any message on shutting down as you could before update, should it be that way?
Does this happen on any versions later then 4.0 that are active (5.0 or 5.5?)
Trisquel 4.0 is no longer supported. If you can reproduce this bug in a supported version, please reopen the issue with the steps followed to reproduce, and update the Version: field accordingly
