I just installed trisquel 5.0. on my machine which has a pny geforce 210 graphics card with 1 gb of memory. I installed the 64 bit version twice. After about 5 minutes the system freezes. The first time I installed the system I did a system update. After the freeze I reinstalled the system from the dvd and did not install the updates. I did not run any programs but moved the mouse around. After about 5 minutes the system locked up again. I then installed the 32 bit version and had the same difficulty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Since I have two of the exact same machines for testing I will install the system on the other machine. I will switch out the graphics cards and install using the onboard graphics and see if this makes a difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I can get this working it will be my new OS. Love the speed and responsiveness.

Do you have any external devices other than the keyboard or mouse attached? When I was installing I had an external hard drive attached and the computer kept on freezing up post install.
I am using a P4 Dell Optiplex so it is a much older machine.
Also, check the integrity of the CD/DVD and if necessary create a new copy. Sometimes the .iso may be corrupt.
Did using the on-board graphics card help?
