While reviewing the package z88dk I noticed these various files indicate a non-commercial restriction. The FSF's Free Software Definition indicates that a free program must be available for commercial use, commercial development, and commercial distribution.

I also submitted this to Debian:

Upstream is already removed.

That last link ends very ominously, Administrator dom writes:
"I've scanned through some of the projects that Marat references and all the ones I looked at included the source code.
But, I really can't be bothered with this side issue anymore.
The build now depends on having wget, a working networking connection and Marat's website running and his links never changing."
So, sounds like the new version is pulling the non-free (distribution prohibited) source. This move might make this legal but it still remains non-free.
Umm, I suggest that remove to archive (Its simple), or replace non-free code to free code (if possible).
This package is removed for gnewsense repos.
