The revisions let you track differences between multiple versions of a post.

This is a manual for making a LiveUSB with Trisquel installed in order to boot the OS from the flash drive and (if desired) save any changes you make.

  1. Download a Trisquel .iso of your choice.
  2. Open the USB Startup Disk Creator application (Menu Bar → System → Administration → USB Startup Disk Creator).
  3. Insert the USB drive. At minimum, you should have about 1 GB of free space (512 MB for Trisquel Mini).
  4. Select an .iso or a CD in your drive to be the source image.
  5. Select how much free space on the USB drive you want to reserve for saving changes. If you are making the LiveUSB for regular usage, reserving at least 300 MB of free space is recommended.
  6. When you are finished, click "Make Startup Disk" and wait for the process to complete.
