Why use the command line?

  • There are programs that have no GUI(Graphical User Interface).
  • It's faster than using a GUI.

Finding a terminal:

Gnome:

  • Applications menu -> Accessories -> Terminal
  • Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + T
