The revisions let you track differences between multiple versions of a post.
The 4.5 STS edition, codename Slaine, is currently in beta stage.
(The final version will be released in March(?) of 2011.)
Slaine is an STS (short term support) version, which will be supported until xxx-xxxx, getting security updates until xxxx. Software versions and distro editions This release is based on Ubuntu 10.10 and as always it contains only free software, including:
- Common
- Linux-libre 2.6.35
- GNOME 2.32
- Xorg 7.5
- Standard edition
- OpenOffice.org 3.2
- Trisquel Web Browser 3.6
- Gimp 2.6
- Mini edition
The distro will have several editions:
- Trisquel, for home use
- Trisquel Mini, for netbooks and old computers
- Trisquel Edu, for schools (not yet released)
- Trisquel Pro, for small enterprises (no yet released)
- TOAST4, our version of the Sugar Learning Platform (not yet released)
LifeEra, the news aggregator, has been added to the standard edition.

All of the editions support 32 and 64-bit architectures.
