How can I translate Trisquel into other languages? I don't mean the website or the wiki, but the distro itself.

I'm guessing it pulls translations from Ubuntu, which is why there are many untranslated parts, particularly during the Trisquel-specific parts of the system and its installation.

Every software project manages its own translations: GNOME, Firefox, LibreOffice, Liferea, etc.

Right, but I'm thinking of the Trisquel installer. How to translate it?

If you are talking about the slide-show presenting Trisquel, then contact Trisquel developers.

If you are talking about the rest of the installer, then it should be a contribution to https://launchpad.net/ubiquity

https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/xenial/+source/ubiquity gives the current status of the translation for the next Ubuntu release (Trisquel 8 will be based on it).

I see what you mean now. I had no idea the language support was incomplete. That is because ever since I was a kiddo using Windows 95 I preferred the English language for my OS, so I did not use Italian for instance on Trisquel..
Maybe try asking Quidam on IRC or aklis.
