Which Kernel

Hi There
This afternoon I will try to install Trisquel via NetInstall. I am pretty shure that I will have to choose manually the appropriate kernel.
Could somebody tell me how to determine the kernel I need? I have an Asus Zenbook UX31. http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_ZENBOOK_UX31E/
Thank you for your help.
Going for "generic" can't hurt. (It's called 'generic' for a reason:)
the default one is generic go for that
AFAIK, the default one in Trisquel 7 is lowlatency.

in case you have doubts or need help. The guide says "generic" as those nice people already pointed out.
The default kernel is pretty old at this point, so you may want to try a later kernel via http://jxself.org/linux-libre/ once you get your system up and running.
Why? Unless your hardware needs it for something, there's no point in upgrading the kernel.
I also like the improvements to BTRFS and XFS since I run them on my system. I also got an Nvidia GTX 970 this past Christmas and the 3.19 kernel and latest Xorg seem to work much better than 3.13 and 3.16.
Can the latest (jxself) linux-libre kernels be used with T6? For example I'm running the latest generic kernel on T6, is it possible and beneficial for me to install (jxself's) v3.19 say?
Yes, it's possible, and most probably beneficial.
It's possible for anything newer/equivalent to Debian Squeeze (or Ubuntu Lucid).
