MythTV is available in Slaine and in Taranis though and can be installed by simply adding old repositories.

1) Updating title.

2) MythTV is not in Trisquel because upstream it is in the multiverse (non-free) repo in Ubuntu. While I don't know if they provide a "good reason" that question was addressed on Launchpad Question #92963: Why is MythTV in multiverse

3) Re-marking as "minor" because this is a packaging request. Please see the documentation page "Community driven tasks: Community driven tasks". Requests of the type "I'd like the package foobar to be in the repository." can't be fulfilled and are minor priority.
