A lot of people that come to fully free software are us to using a proprietary flash plugin. They are disappointed that this or that site doesn't work with free software. One that I hear again and again is they want to watch hulu videos. Well I have a site that works with Gnash and most of the videos they link to are supported. http://tv.blinkx.com/ With this site I have never been jealous of what I am missing because I am missing nothing. hope that helps everyone.

Thanks but not all the videos on the site work using free software, for example videos that are hosted on Veoh.com cannot be viewed (but can be downloaded using UnPlug) and some videos also have region restrictions (e.g. crackle.com).

this is true but many of the videos do work as opposed to hulu where none do.

Is there a way to make www.thatguywiththeglasses.com work?

It looks like it has only Blip.tv embedded videos. Next release of
GetMediumURL (used in WatchVideo) will support it.

http://pypi.python.org/pypi/GetMediumURL/0.0a2 shows how to get it using
Mercurial, and "easy_install -U --user WatchVideo" should install
WatchVideo, runnable as qtwatchvideo.

Yes. They post all their videos on blip.tv and you can download them
from there. I suggest that you subscribe to the persons' you like to
watch, via their web feeds on blip.tv, so you can easelly follow them
and download their videos.

For example: http://phelous.blip.tv/rss

I've examined the HTML code for few random clips. They were all from
blip.tv. I could support such clips in Linterna Mágica. With the
current framework this means a link/button to the original web page of
the clip. There it could be watched with or without Linterna Mágica -
blip.tv has HTML5 support for some video clips.

I have released Linterna Mágica 0.0.9-7 and it has supports for this site.
