AMD processors will support Coreboot better than Intel in the future

I love using AMD processors anyways since they are cheaper, but here is another reason:

Are AMD blobs better than Intel blobs? There is no source for any
significant CPU initialization code for them. Other sources mention
lack of suspend/resume resulting from AMD wanting to require signed
blobs for it.

AMD prossesors are cheaper in the short term
but they use more power than intel prosessors

i guess a arm v6 would be a good option for cheapness and power

While this news is a step in the right direction, until we actually have companies like AMD and Intel directly contributing code to Coreboot/Libreboot in a non-blobed format this is still a major issue.

Good to see the community making progress as always but it sure does make you feel a little helpless at times.

I use Nvidia over AMD for video cards for better support of free drivers.
