Hi, guys. I decided to buy a gaming console, which is actually a tablet ¬¬' XD... Anyway, and I was wondering if there is any alternative to the Android OS, it's better than Windows when it comes to Freedom but it still doesn't respect my freedom. So I wanted to know what are your suggestions and what can I do about it. And by the way, does android have any "Surveillance Feature" by default?

I'm buying this console because there's not so much things I can do in my free time to relax (don't tell me to read books, because I do, a lot! XD)
It's a chinese console and it's REEEEEALLY cheap, and has better features than the JXD consoles for less price.

There is Replicant,[0] but it doesn't work on many devices yet. It is a modified, free version of Android.

It depends on if the tablet manufacturer installed one.

I think Cyanogen Mod could be a solution. It still uses blobs but it is the best you could get.

If it doesn't work, I guess you'll have to stick with Android.
