Hello I am running trisquel gnu/linux 9.0 latest one in my pc, and was using it well.
Today I just did sudo apt-get update and it is giving me errors.
Here is the command output I get when running it with sudo.
hexagonwin@T3600-Trisquel:~$ sudo apt-get update

If I connect to archive.trisquel.info on my web browser (Abrowser), it connects well.
What would be the problem?
Thanks
Same here
Yeah i'm having the issue as well. Was working fine 24 hours ago.
I had the same problem before but it is working now.
Fixed here as well.
in trisquel since recently. Bad feeling...
>in trisquel since recently. Bad feeling...
I have used plenty of operating systems over the years and have yet to find one that hasn't had any issues at all. I would look more at how quickly it gets fixed and how helpful the staff are instead. If you are after a perfect distro it doesn't exist.
No comparations bacause they always are unfair. Bugs are present in any software and operating system; no complains about that.
I am a plain user, nothing more. I try to contribute to the software I use in my posibilities; usually with bug reports or localization.
Like I said in my previous post, I use Trisquel since recently but Gnu/Linux for years.
The feeling I referred to is... like the distro feels... I don't know how to say it. Few forum activity, few incidents reports and with few responses, failure to update (quickly resolved but either way...), expired certificate.
Little issues, of course and I'm not trying to critiquize anyone or anything, I haven't the right to.
In the end, I am a plain user arriving to a distro from others and the experience till now is simply ok. But not great.
Please, I'm not trying to offend. I am aware that I am a neo-user and If I don't like what I see I know where the exit door is. It is me trying to explain my previous comentary.
And english is not my first language and I'm very stubborn to utilize a translator so is very possible to make a mistake putting my thoughts in english.
Regards
Seems like a server issue or something.
Also fixed here!!
P.S. does anybody know how I can mark this post as fixed or something..? Thanks
There is no way to edit the title of the thread (or its first post) to indicate the problem is fixed.
