Ark unar (RARV3) integration not working in Toutatis

Can somebody confirm this?
In Dagda, I used Ark as my frontend to extract RARV3 files, primarily multi-part archives. Ark integration for unar does not work anymore in my Toutatis installation, but I can still run unar from the terminal to extract the same files.
I'd like to know if there are any workarounds. Thanks!
I didn't think there were any GUI methods for unar. I've always used the terminal so nothing has changed for me. :)
File Roller supports unar since GNOME 3.8, Ark doesn't while it has
patches available [0][1]. That patch is used in Parabola and maybe
could be added to Trisquel. These require not having unrar installed
(or unar wrapper like ununrar).
I don't want to learn another command line interface for each archive
format, so I use bsdtar which supports RAR with new enough libarchive.
(No multivolume nor encrypted archives.)

The only option I am aware of is to use lsar/unar commands from Terminal. I tried Ark and some scripts, including Masłowski's python script called Ununrar, but none of them really worked for me, so I went ahead and developed a Nautilus script for my own purposes, but unfortunately I abandoned this project because of the focus on other things.

What sort of desktop setup are you using there?
Sorry for my late reply. It's Trisquel 4.1 with Gnome2 desktop, if that's what you'd like to know.
hey mYself,
Any chance you could share the script that you made? I would like to be able to use unar with the "right click". I have a lot of files (multi part files) that can only be extracted with unar, and I don't really like the idea of having to write command line for each one (even because they have BIG filenames, so it really is a pain in the head to get it right for each and every one.)
Thanks in advance ;)
Ubuntu 13.10 will include Gnome 3.8 applications/libraries and version 1.7 of unar is in the repos.
Does File Roller in Gnome 3.8 list unar as a dependency or is it like the unrar and unrar-free packages that File Roller will use if installed? If the unrar-free and unar packages are installed, does File Roller put a preference for unar?

It prefers unrar-free or another other package chosen to provide
/usr/bin/unrar. It's not an optimal solution on free systems.
