If you ever buy a pre-owned book and it has the previous owner's phone number in it, *do not call it.*
I just called to say "hi," and it turns out the previous owner passed away.
...
I feel kind of bad for reading the book now.

well its sad that they died but you should not feel bad reading a book just because the last owner died
if you died would you want people feeling sad about reading your book collection?
