Cams that work?

Im new to this and interested in having a fully "free as in freedom" computer, however im having problems trying to make all the devices I need to work, I assume because of the drivers. I need to have meetings on webcam but my webcam apparently has no working drivers (it is the Quickam Express). I was wondering if there is one cam that works fine? RMS does many cam meetings so there must be one that is safe to use. Thank you.
In my experience, most webcams work. Maybe I am lucky.
Have you tried upgrading the kernel? Installing the package "linux-image-generic-hwe-18.04" (in Trisquel's repository) and rebooting will give you a 5.3 kernel. For a 5.10 (LTS) kernel or even a 5.13 (non-LTS) kernel, you can follow the instructions on https://jxself.org/linux-libre/
Beware of external webcams, the wireless varieties:

Yeah, my cam has USB cable. It is really old, I don't think it can do anything in terms of unexpected capabilities like internal memory or any extra features. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Looks like the drivers are ancient and never got updated. It's Quickcam Express Go. It works in Windows 10 but not in Linux... so im not sure what to do about this.
My Microsoft Lifecam VX6000 work but it's strange. It's photo is very dark than in 'M$ Proprietary OS' and the led indicator isn't working.
Logitech C580 (?) work. I'm using this now.
Lebeca (?) web camera work. I just found it from my drawer and it seems to be from 2005 or so.. I don't know exactly..
