Hello I am trying to extend an monitor with my t60 libreboot laptop but for some reason it only clones it. Would anyone have an idea why this is going on?

There is a checkbox for that in the "Display" utility (in the "System settings").

Uh there is no system settings on my version of trisquel as far as I can tell.
Edit
I fixed the problem, what I did was downloaded disper and turned off the vga screen then I used the command disper -e or for my case disper -t left -e and then it all came together. I hope this helps someone in the future for some reason.
