Cannot view embedded Facebook video

Clicking play doesn't work without JavaScript.
Going to the original Facebook page and using youtube-dl gives an error.

How do I view this video?
It's on Vimeo. You should be able to grab that with youtube-dl.
I guess you lose the captions (subtitles).

Use this to get the subtitles. Requires Javascript but it's the only solution I know of.

Using youtube-dl version 1:2018.04.03-1~webupd worked with that forward.com url. It could be that this page was updated since you posted with a different source?
