Can't get math to work in PDF

Someone sent me the following PDFs to help me with learning how to
budget my money.

It acts as though it will calculate the numbers for you, like in a
spreadsheet, but the formulas don't take effect in Okular or Evince.

How do I get the formulas to work?

I tried the file from the first link you posted. I can't get it to work with Evince, either.

I just tried it at the office on my work PC, and I *am* able to get it to work with Adobe Acrobat. I wonder if the interactive form in the file uses a proprietary extension of the PDF format?

Use the Android version of MuPDF. It is available on F-Droid.
