Creating an USB Pen of Trisquel 4.0.1 Taranis

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to use Trisquel 4.0.1 as a Home Server (I wanted to have something only LTS on that one until Trisquel 6 LTS is out). And to do so I was trying to create a USB Pen using DD from the terminal (like I always do). But using this method the Trisquel NetInstall won't start and I don't know how to solve this :S..
This is how I did :
sudo dd if="/home/aliasbody/Transferências/trisquel-netinst_4.0.1_i686.iso" of=/dev/sdf
Is this a "normal" problem with the netinstall version of trisquel 4 or is this some kind of bug ?

I don't think that will work. It's for a CD and the distribution then downloads from the net. It can be installed to a pendrive like any other version though.
Burn it to a CD first and then run the installation. Select the USB device as the device you would like to install to. Also install the MBR to the USB device.
I used this method for the 5.5 version and it worked :S.. I wanted to install from the NetInstall into a netbook without CD Drive... I think that if I don't find a solution I'll stay with 5.5 or just wait to 6.0 to be out.
The functionality to write the ISO files this way was added not very long ago. It might be that 4.0 ISO files don't have this functionality.

If the 4.0 images that are written with the 'dd' command aren't
bootable, you may have to use a tool like the usb creator from another
version or a tool like unetbootin. The latter is available in a ppa,
but there may be free software concerns with using it. Nonetheless, I
have done, as a convenience, since the usb creator tool is not
accessible using the Orca screen reader.
