>"On-line harassment"

I'll say that exists the possibility that someone has it against him and someone has a political persecution against Jacob.

Here's the whois of that domain http://paste.debian.net/715667
Apparently the owner is someone from Austria.
I find really strange that someone bought a domain just for this. There are hundreds of free services they could have hosted this. But no, a domain just for this. Makes you think.

>"I cannot access the stories. Can you?"
How come? Is the website blocking visitors by country?

Here's a copy of the main page: https://archive.is/lPiEG

The stories seem to need JavaScript to be displayed. But here's a paste of them: http://paste.debian.net/715758/

Interestedly enough. All the people are anonymous, and none of the stories has any proof, source or evidence.

You can see for yourself, for example one says:
>"At one point, Jake made a joke in a public venue during a speech. Video of this event is published on the Internet."
But no link, date or any further information of the video is mentioned.

Unsubstantiated allegations. It's not hard for someone to dish swill against a person they might have an issue with. Let the courts decide if it comes to that. Gossip never helps.

No, I was not aware of this. It would be helpful if there were something
besides anonymous allegations and a vague press release from Tor which
promises no further clarity ("We expect that this will be our only public
statement.").

Try reading the site's HTML markup (circa line 950) and you can find the
stories without running Javascript (which I wouldn't recommend turning on).

The site operators should have made wiser choices. Javascript was
completely unnecessary for this site and HTTPS would have been wise to use
by default particularly now that Let's Encrypt is up and running issuing
gratis, usable HTTPS certificates to all.

They say there's going to be a private investigation. On the other hand, some say they won't take his conduct to police or make legal, formal charges against him. They just "want it to stop".

They also say Appelbaum took eagerly credit for work he hadn't done. They went public with this in order to warn other communities if Appelbaum chooses to migrate to other projects and start something similar there.

We don't know who these people are, presumably mostly female, but some males are involved who have "witnessed" or "widely known of" some dubious behaviour and conduct. They seem to imply it's been a long time coming but a soap is hard to catch when wet.

With no legal proceedings there will never be a court where he can be judged or exonerated.
