Fitting Custom Image As Wallpaper.

Hello friends.
I've been trying for a bit, but I'm not having success: how does one fit a custom image as desktop background?
I try to select an image, but it is always cropped. Tried changing aspect ratios, etc. But no go. I would like the whole image be fitted to the desktop.
What am I missing? Any tips?

Hi!
I presume you're using Trisquel 7. If you go into the 'Tweak Tools' section of the System Settings, and then to the 'Desktop' tab, there should be an option called Mode, which is probably set to Zoom. Change that to Stretch, and it should resize the background to fit the screen, albeit stretching it.
