Free gradebook software?

I'm going to start teaching undergraduate classes next semester and I'm wondering if there is a better option than the libreoffice spreadsheet. I've tried searching, but haven't had much luck, so I'm not too optimistic but figured I would ask here anyway. Thanks.
apt-cache search gradebook
python-schooltool.gradebook - Gradebook plugin for SchoolTool
schooltool - Suite of free administrative software for schools
and
My university uses Moodle (under the GPLv3+), where I directly enter the grades: https://moodle.org
Sorry for interfering (again, I'm such a nosy guy, :D)
But, on a side note (and perhaps even off-topic):
I haven't had the time (and skills) to test Moodle extensively yet, but
what puzzles me is: Is Moodle capable of serving as educational
management system with functions like:
* Keeping grades for various tests (I already saw Moodle doing this).
* Calculating arithmetical means for the end of the academic calender.
* Providing payment "tickets" (here in Brazil I would write it as
"boleto", since tickets are smaller than boletos) for the students to
download so that they could pay the fees associated with the college.
If Moodle can provide all of this, or perhaps be easily interfaced with
another free software project that satisfies the absent functions, then
I would think "Why on Earth universities/colleges here in Brazil insist
on using a non-free software with non-free JavaScript called Unimestre,
although they rely on Moodle just for blended education?"
My university is Brazilian: the UFMG. I do not know about the emission of "tickets" but there are a lot of features in Moodle and even more in plugins: https://docs.moodle.org/30/en/Features
