Free software to create LogicWorks files

My professor has asked us to use LogicWorks for my course work and I don't want to use proprietary software for it. I asked him about it and he said I could use whatever software I wanted as long as it could create LogicWorks files.

So, is there any free logic/circuit design program that can create such files?

First find out all formats the program can import. Then try these tools to find out if these can output any of those formats

(note that importing doesn't always work correctly)

If you still cannot make it happen I think it's time for another discussion with your professor. Explain him what all you've tried and that this is really important to you.

Thanks lembas! I did some research and found that LogicWorks takes VHDL (interoperable format, yay!) files with a .dwv extension. So I searched through the repositories and found Qucs which can export VHDL.
