Hi,

There is also a "Desktop distribution" category, unfortunately Trisquel
is not there :(
https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/2012-linuxquestions-org-members-choice-awards-104/desktop-distribution-of-the-year-4175441843/

I posted about that, feel free to also suggest including Trisquel.

Please note the requiremenets to vote, it's also explained here:

Cheer,

Fabian

Hi everyone,

FYI, there are just less than 72 hours left to join in on the yearly
LinuxQuestions.org poll 2012! One of the categories is "Office Suite of
the Year" of course. LibreOffice won this category last year. Let's make
it the winner again this year!

Go to http://www.LinuxQuestions.org, log in --> if you are not a member,
you can register BUT BE AWARE, THAT YOU MUST POST AT LEAST ONCE for your
vote to count. You can do this by just presenting yourself on one of the
forums and then go to this page:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/2012-linuxquestions-org-members-choice-awards-104/
and vote! That's it!

So, vote for LibreOffice, the office suite that has once again grown its
developer community, grown in popularity and grown its userbase in 2012
- -- that's you!

It's an achievement that we need to celebrate! Let's vote and show our
appreciation, we have all participated at making this the best office
suite of choice!

Cheers,

Marc

Too bad there was only one release of Trisquel in 2012 while other projects were more active and had 2-3 releases. I've had blue balls waiting for Trisquel 6 since April of last year and kinda feel burned by that.

Hopefully 2013 is the year that Ruben has better communication with the rest of us and finally moves to LTS only releases so it brings more stability and sanity to this project. He is really cutting it close with the release of 6 considering 5.5 loses mainstream support in a few months.

A poster attempted to convey misleading information about the Trisquel project on that website. My response on the matter:
