general error mounting file systems

what could go wrong ? my pc says that error " general error mounting file systems" then says something about if you wanna stop shell maintaince click ctrl+D. an then appears the command line already in root i believe... what i try is to reboot just clickin the turn on button...but happens again... im gonna have to reinstal trisquel?

This sounds a lot like what happened when I used up the writes on my USB
Drive. Is it a recurring error? The drive you have Trisquel installed on
might be completely written out. This is very likely if you have it
installed on an SSD, CD-RW, or USB Flash Drive. The other possibility is
that you need to re-partition the drive.
well when i installed the system it worked excelent a a couple of days... then when i boot the system i had lots of error message and it asked me to press F to try to fix it, or S to ignorite it , something like that... i think the errors was mounting / and i clicked F( try to fix it ) every time and it was randoom, but in a few try the system booted fine... but a day later i had that " general error mounting file systems " and that was all... i installed the system from a CD-R in a 1 Terabite Hard Drive ... i dont know if is a hardware compatibility issue or my HD is fucked or what... ill try to reinstall the system again...
It looks like your hard drive is dying. I hope your data were backed up!
what do you mean? do you think i have to change my hard drive?
