Create VM disk:

qemu-img create -f qcow msdos.disk 2G

Install MS-DOS:

qemu-system-i386 -hda msdos.disk -m 64 -L . -fda dos622_1.img -boot a

Boot virtual HDD (note dot):

qemu-system-i386 -hda msdos.disk -m 64 -L .

Open qemu console [ctrl-alt-2] and load a new floppy image:

(qemu) change floppy0 disk.img #other devices ide1-cd0 -- type 'info block'

Back to VM [ctrl-alt-2]

Are you using FreeGEOS?

That's got remarkable capabilities, when you consider how old it is and what a small amount of memory we were working with back then.

It seems that you have used MS-DOS 6.22. Is it possible to launch this from FreeDOS?

Yeah, that's MS-DOS. I guess any x86 compatible OS can be used.

##EDIT

Oh, I realized you meant if FreeDOS and Geoworks work together. I don't know.

Here's an article from the archives of Mikrobitti Magazine January 1995 (in Finnish).

Too bad we never have pictures of murderous clowns in our modern distro reviews like they did in that 2nd page. Running for their lives while the killer clowns try to tackle and eat the reviewers could make the reviews much more interesting.
