Hello friends :) I just installed Trisquel-mini, and I have a few issues that I've encountered that I hope you can help me with

Greetings once again :)
-First of all, what display manager does Trisquel 8 use?
-How can I edit it and enable compositing like regular Trisquel-MATE does? I love Trisquel-mini but I have enough resources to enable compositing and make the display manager prettier :)
-Also encountered a bug: enabling compton to start on login on Trisquel-Mini(LXDE) fails. I have to manually start compton from the launcher or a terminal.
Otherwise, Trisquel 8 is absolutely fantastic. I'm going to attempt to run a Genode development environment on here, and report back if any issues arise. I expect it to be flawless :)
Cheers,
Joel Desermeau
LightDM.
If you also need Wayland-based sessions like https://liri.io or Plasma shell I instead recommend SDDM to us all, which LightDM maybe doesn't support Wayland protocol.
And I'm happy using SDDM as my default display manager for Parabola, PureOS, Devuan, Trisquel, Hyperbola, that's Qt-written and has a support for Wayland which I need both X.org and Wayland.
GDM from GNOME also supports Wayland but unfortunately it's dependent on geoclue2 that's conflicted against your-privacy in Parabola.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CanonicalLtd/lightdm/master/NEWS says the support for Wayland sessions was added in LightDM 1.15.2. Trisquel 8 has LightDM 1.18.3. So it should work. Not that I tried though.
I've seen 2 times of a word "Plasma shell" and once "Openbox/KDE" in LightDM, one with Trisquel avatar and another one with KDE avatar, which I've installed the Openbox and Wayland sessions for Plasma (that occurs in PureOS, Devuan, Trisquel systems), does it stand for this LightDM supporting Wayland?
This command will tell:
$ echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
Thanks y'all! I went back to regular Trisquel so all is well
