Greetings all! I recently found that I can change the size of the icons that appear in the panel. I had installed Wallch and found a way to reduce the size of that icon (which is by default HUGE) however, I cannot fidn a way to change the size of the Sticky Notes applet icon without making the panel small as well.
I want to end up with a 64px tall panel and a sticky note icon which is about 20 x 20 pixels.
I know how to resize images in general, but i don't know which image to replace in order to get the sticky notes icon to be smaller.
I really appreciate the support on this forum! Thanks!

Well, I guess I'd manage to do that in Xfce, which is btw the only DE I have studied well. I used MATE quite a lot too and it's the same. I guess it is the same for all the DEs..
In Xfce you would want to go in the folder of your icon theme --> /usr/share/icons and look for the folder "status".
I found the icons for some apps but not all. nevertheless i managed to shrink the sticky notes icon by just making the panel skinny (32px tall). I'm fine with this for now.
