Hello everyone !

I don't have the vendor bios backup anymore for the blob extraction. I was able to get a backup of my current bios which is the latest Skulls/Coreboot. How would you go about this ? I'm new to all this.

There is a list of supported hardware at https://libreboot.org/docs/hardware/
I note that the T430 is not there.
Not that it matters much: I kinda don't see the point of having a separate project from coreboot anymore, now that libreboot's added blobs like CPU microcode updates and etc. for all systems.

Thanks for the response. It's weird, it's not on the website. If you go through the roms in testing, they have files for the T430. Your right, I will probably just stick with regular Coreboot.

I'm curious, what is your end goal for switching from Coreboot to Libreboot ? These days Libreboot will have all the same blobs as Coreboot so you wouldn't be gaining any extra freedom.

I imagine that such is a result of those that knew that libreboot was 100% free software but aren't yet aware of the changes. In essence, Leah seems to be leveraging libreboot's popularity in this way. If you see what I mean.

I didn't realize that for the new update. Still pretty new too all this.
