How to get back "regular" Unity?

Hello folks,
Several months ago I activated Unity 2d in my Trisquel 6 system. I followed the instructions given here
https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/how-install-unity-desktop-environment-and-create-session-entry-trisquel-70
Now I want to go back to "regular" Unity with all the 3d stuff. But I don't see this option in my log-in screen. The only Unity-related entry I have is "Ubuntu2d".
How do you reactivate Unity?
Ooops I'm sorry, I pasted the wrong link there! To activate Unity 2d, I followed instructions given here
https://trisquel.info/en/forum/how-can-i-install-unity
And now I am looking at this page
https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/how-install-unity-desktop-environment-and-create-session-entry-trisquel-70
Even though I follow the instructions, I cannot get it activated.
I guess you could remove "unity-2d" (assuming none of your users wants to use it anymore).
I tried this, and removed all the other Unity-related components and reinstalled Unity. But it didn't work.
We wrote these instructions and the script for Trisquel 7 and not 6... I don't know what could have change...
Please, do:
$ ls /usr/share/xsessions/ $ ls /usr/share/gnome-session/sessions/
And share the output with us.
$ ls /usr/share/xsessions/ gives the following:
gnome-classic.desktop LXDE.desktop Trisquel-mini.desktop
gnome.desktop openbox.desktop ubuntu-2d.desktop
gnome-shell.desktop openbox-gnome.desktop xsession.desktop
kde-plasma.desktop openbox-kde.desktop xterm.desktop
And $ ls /usr/share/gnome-session/sessions/
gdm.session gnome.session ubuntu-2d.session~
gnome-classic.session ubuntu-2d.session ubuntu.session
Remove the files with "ubuntu-2d" in their names and follow the section "Using the script to create the desktop entry" of https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/how-install-unity-desktop-environment-and-create-session-entry-trisquel-70 (or read the script to know the content of the two files that it creates and creates them by yourself).
Thank you, I followed these steps. Now I have an entry called Ubuntu in my log-in screen. When I select it and try to log in, I get this message:
failed to load session "ubuntu"
Only thing I can do from there is clicking the "Log out" button and logging out.
That means that you haven't installed Unity correctly, please, make sure that you installed unity and compiz.
Tell us how it went.
I have compiz, and I am using it without any issue with Gnome 3. And Unity is installed.
What could be the problem....?
I really don't know, I'm clueless my friend...
Do an "aptitude search unity" and show us the output please.
Thanks very much for all the helpful pointers.
This is the output I got from aptitude search unity:
