Hi everyone! Sorry for being annoying, but I have a big problem with my Telegram account. It's associated with an old phone number that I don't have anymore, because I lost my SIM card, so I only could use my account from my laptop, that a few days ago had a partition problem that requires reinstalling Trisquel. However, in that case I'd lose access to my Telegram account.

You should be able to transfer your Telegram account to another machine, then transfer it "back" to your new Trisquel install. If I remember well, you will receive the security code on the desktop app on the system you are transferring from, as suggested here [1]. You will only need your phone number, not access to the phone itself, in order to register on the new device.

Otherwise, see [2].

Hello Majin Buu, I use Telegram too and I had similar case last January. What do you think about my notes here[1]? I also recovered my account successfully on Trisquel. I hope yours can be recovered successfully too.
