Installing Rockbox Utility

I am trying to install Rockbox Utiltiy (https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/RockboxUtility#Download) but I am struggling to run the AppImage. I have changed the permissions to allow it to be executed as a program, but when I try to run it nothing happens. Has anyone else had this issue or is there something I'm missing? Thank you :)

I cannot help with the appimage but I have successfully installed rockbox utility using the ppa in https://launchpad.net/~benjaoming/+archive/ubuntu/rockbox.
This, in case you have missed it, is listed in the package section in https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/RockboxUtility#Download.

Thank you so much! I just managed to install it. I had seen it listed but I wasn't confident in what I was doing so had not tried it. Really appreciate the help :)
