HI!!

Im having some problems with my new Trisquel installation :

- First, every time it's initializing i can see 3 erros
error:no suitable mode found
error:No video mode activated
error:unknow command 'terminal'

- Then, after i login, sometimes i can not see the icons on the desktop or sometimes i can not see the bottom banner with the main menu, but i can always use Alt+F1

- The xorg default driver is: vesa, and i have xserver-xorg-vesa installed

- I have done the installation 2 times, first: graphic mode then text mode.

- I am now installing again, and i will prove installing another desktop manager.

Any other ideas???

Thanks

Reinstalling again and again will not solve your problem. GNU/Linux is not Windows: there is no magic! Let's look for the problem. Apparently, your video card is problematic since the generic vesa driver is used. What is your video card? If you do not know, executing the following command should help:
$ lspci | grep VGA
