If you're using my APT repository [0] I wanted to mention that an announcement list [1] is now available. The primary intended use is to be able to communicate with people using my repository and let them know when kernel packaged are being end-of-lifed (in cases where they're following version-specific branches), etc. It will be very low volume.

Hey jxself!

I wonder if that kind of info could also be communicated via the package manager. I hear that's how EOL notices of old Trisquel versions are done. Could be simpler... for the end user. :)

It's an interesting idea although I'm not sure how that's accomplished.
