I just bought a Lenovo T400 Thinkpad from Leah and it's giving me the following problems:

Upon start, all goes well but after a while it begins to take random screenshots (which are stored in the Images folder).
It also disables the keyboard and touchpad.

When I reboot the problems go away for a while but then it all restarts again.

I've checked if the print button is pressed. It doesn't seem to be.

This happens even if after rebooting I do not press any key or do anything.

Has something similar happened to you guys?

Hardware (keyboard) issue.

I changed the default keybinding of taking a screenshot from 'Print' (which is a key I cannot find on the Lenovo T400) to Ctrl + P.
The problem is solved, it seems.

Only the issue with the Screenshots is solved. It keeps disabling the keyboard and (partially the touchpad).

i sill have problems wih m keboard.
The letters "t","y" and numbers 1234 and 7890 don't work on the keyboard of my minifree t400.

I tried restarting, updating and upgrading but nothing works.

I'm typing this with the on screen keyboard.

Could I revert to some previous keyboard driver?

Hi,

If you're having trouble with your laptop, you can send your system back for replacement/repair if it's still under warranty. The warranty is 2 years.

I will ship you a replacement laptop when requested. This sounds like a hardware issue to me.

In this case, if you rely on the system then I will simply send out a whole replacement and you can send the first one back after you receive the new one.

Hi, I've just replied to the email you sent. As stated in the email, you just have a faulty keyboard.

I sent you an email, offering to send a keyboard replacement, with instructions for how to install it. Let's continue the discussion via email
