Dear Trisquel Community,

I recently purchased a Librem 11 tablet from Purism. The tablet ships with PureOS.

Shortly after receiving the tablet, I missed the pleasant design of Trisquel GNU/Linux and attempted to install Trisquel.

However, the WiFi connect widget does not offer any available networks.
Is this a common error with Trisquel GNU/Linux on the Librem 11? Have you seen a similar issue and would have any useful feedback?

Thank you so much and I look forward to reading all of your responses.

Donn't all the Purism wifi chips require nonfree firmware? I see that the Librem 11 has an Intel AX201 wifi chip, which probably requires nonfree firmware. I don't think they'll work with Trisquel's default free firmware and Libre kernel.

Yes, there is no free firmware for 802.11ax.
