I've been using it in Debian unstable for some days. Now it's available in Debian testing as well. You need to run # apt full-upgrade

For those who use stable distributions, LibreOffice 7.0 (64-bit only) can be downloaded from the official site and manually installed.

That's great to know, I suppose, if someone has a specific need that is met by version 7 that is somehow unmet with older versions. However: The version provided by Trisquel still meets my needs to produce the documents that I need to produce just as much as it did before this version 7 came out.

I also do not have versionitis: https://jxself.org/versionitis/

Lol. A new version of the ISO was released last Friday: http://jenkins.trisquel.info/makeiso-etiona/iso/

I thought that would rhyme with peritonitis ;-)

In case somebody finds useful, maybe faster or the main server/official mirrors should happen to be off-line, so here it is as well:

I've been using Etiona for some time now on several computers. There was a glitch: when I first installed it with autologin enabled, I couldn't switch the login prompt on anymore.

Libreoffice is bloated, real chads use groff, sc-im, and sent. XD

https://www.gnu.org/software/groff/

" Groff (GNU troff) is a typesetting system that reads plain text mixed with formatting commands and produces formatted output. Output may be PostScript or PDF, html, or ASCII/UTF8 for display at the terminal. Formatting commands may be either low-level typesetting requests (“primitives”) or macros from a supplied set. Users may also write their own macros. All three may be combined.

Present on most Unix systems owing to its long association with Unix manuals (manpages), groff is capable of producing typographically sophisticated documents while consuming only minimal system resources."

Or LaTeX.

Latex is the standard for scientific documents, it's good. My preference for groff is the fact that it comes pre-installed and is lightweight. Maybe if I need something really fancy Latex would be the option.
