Hello all, thanks for approving my account.
I was drawn here by the possibility of a software patch to the Apple EFI on MacBook1,1 and installing Libreboot and subsequently Trisquel.

This is the original thread, but it's very old and the file is now no longer hosted by fileconvoy. I tried getting in touch with the author, but no success.
Can you let me know if anyone has a mirror of the file or any other guide to successfully patch it? Thanks!

I cannot help you since I never messed around with Macbooks, but maybe you could try contacting Libreboot developer, Leah. Things are going rough for them right now but maybe they will have an answer to your problems.
