mainboards which fit in a t400 cabinet?

My t400 computers are breaking. Only
t400 mainboards fit in the cabinet?
Or are there other mainboard models which will
fit?

There's no other official ThinkPad motherboard fit in T400 chassis. The T400 and R400 motherboards are essentially the same.
If you want to reuse your chasses, LCD and as many other existing parts as possible, you can try to find one T/R400 motherboard with integrated graphics from ebay.
