No libmp3lame offered by the repository?

Why isn't libmp3lame in the trisquel repository? It's in the fsf directory http://directory.fsf.org/project/LAME/ I can't think of any copyright issues. Is it there and I just can't find it?

I'm not really sure why our distro has no support for .mp3 encoding.
