I would like to change the default settings:

Orca
It launches automatically and is running when I log in. I don't need Orca - I want to disable it from launching at start up or even remove it.

Num-Lock
I want Num-Lock to be on when I start. How do I set this? I have had a look in system settings, keyboard, but couldn't see anything.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you want to disable the automatic startup of orca, go to Universal
Access, in the Gnome Control Center. On the 'Seeing' tab, you can
toggle the Screen Reader setting off. Also, you can remove orca from
your system with

sudo apt-get remove gnome-orca
