Opening usb memory when plug not working on trisquel 7

When using trisquel 6, every time I connected a usb memory it would show in the desktop and open it up on nautilus. Now in triquel 7, the memory does show up in nautilu's side bar but is not opened automatically or shown in the desktop.
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.media-handling automount true
doesn't solve the problem.

But I felt I wanted to share my own experience. Thank you.
You have to click it on nautilus side bar so that it gets mounted and the content is shown.
I should have used the words "automount" or "auto open" in the title so that it was easier to find. Oh well, hope it helps some one out there.

Please have a look at the bug report, the issue is that the drive is not auto mounting and it can be fixed simply by installing usbmount.
