Panorama is broken in Flidas by the absence of pto2mk

After processing a bunch of images to create a usable panoramic image using Panorama
in Belanos, I decided to do a comparative run with Flidas, but the file pto2mk is
missing. A Google search says that pto2mk is no longer shipped with Hugin and suggests
using hugin_executor instead. However, sudo apt-get install does not find that file.

Do I have to learn to use Hugin instead of Panorama, or is there an update to Panorama
which executes a patch ?

I've never done anything with panoramic images, but

$ apt-cache search panorama
libpano13-3 - panorama tools library
libpano13-bin - panorama tools utilities
libpano13-dev - panorama tools library development files
pandora - GIMP Plugin For Creating Panoramas
hugin - panorama photo stitcher - GUI tools
hugin-tools - panorama photo stitcher - commandline tools
hugin-data - panorama photo stitcher - common data files

pandora looks like it might do what you want.

According to http://hugin.sourceforge.net :

[Hugin is] an easy to use cross-platform panoramic imaging toolchain based on Panorama Tools.

"libpano", listed by mason, contains the so-called "Panorama Tools" and "hugin" indeed depends on them (wheras Pandora, the GIMP plugin, does not). If those are the tools you are referring to, then Hugin is probably what you want.
