Request
Hi I am asking for Request for assistance: reshow Panel notifications (and open items).

Origin and explanation
What I mean is, I recently installed trisquel and the open applications were viewable on the bottom of the screen but I when I was configuring the time I accidentally deleted the notifications part. Now when I alt right click on an empty space I cannot add the notifications.

Troubleshooting:
Restarted computer, logged in/out, tried right clicking more.
Optional troubleshooting:
reinstall Trisquel.

Similar Issues:
I haven't found a similar thread.

Priority:
Low-medium

Assistance
I have asked for assistance in the IRC channel. Could this be something to submit to bug reports?

Thanks! :)

I understand this is the most recent version of trisquel and there may be more updates to come that could resolve the issue.

I have tried to write the format so that it is descriptive and reproducable.

I can attach a screenshot or bugrreport if necessary

My hardware is:
Lenovo ThinkPad X200s Intel Core 2 Duo. with LTS Belenos Release Date 11.3.14 Gnome Desktop 64bit torrent

It last had notifications showing this morning. I downloaded from the main site: https://trisquel.info/en/download

I could record a screencast

Left Alt+Right Click
Select 'Add to Panel' from the pop-up Menu
In the dialog which appears double click on 'Indicator Applet.'

I leny. I appreciate the response.

However doing so adds The following items: Shutdown, sound, mouse, mail, bluetooth, internet.

It does not allow you to see the applications that are open.

Have you looked at my screenshots?

I have attached a picture that is on the front page of trisquel's website as a comparison clarification of having the items showing up that are currently running, see the botoom for appolo etc. Also My menu bar is reduced in size and I can't make it bigger.

Thanks

I would also like to mention that there is an issue with branding and also off gnome; the help is called about unity and then when i click on it it is about gnome, which is different than fallback-gnome so I can't follow alot of the instructions.

Indicator Applet not Notification Applet (which is what you're using). If you also

Left Alt+Right Click
Select 'Properties' on the pop-up menu
And set the 'Size' field to 44 pixels

You will have the default panel.

Also add the item 'Window List' from Add to Panel for the Window titles to be shown and clickable.

** SOLVED **

thanks! What I needed was the Window Selector. Sorry for the trouble. I made the menu bigger too.

Is there a way to close this issue? I want to indicate this problem is resolved

Thanks for the thanks. There's someway of editing forum thread subjects after the fact but I don't know what it is, so don't worry about it - few do.
