So I know there are at least a few people here who will be attending SCALE this year. I don't remember who you are so speak up! In fact email me (click my user name and send a message- I'll get it). Usually at these events the free software people all get together for a little party of our own and I'd just like to invite those who may not be aware of this to speak up and make themselves known. Also stop by the ThinkPenguin table and say hi! I'm always glad to run into other free software advocates at these events.

I think it unfair that such things only get held in America.
