When I upgraded my laptop from Trisquel 6.0 to 7.0 it changed my screen resolution to the wrong size and now does not give me an option to change to the correct size of 1366 x 768. It has an AMD graphics card installed. How can I fix this.

If it's an AMD video card, you could try removing it and using the integrated graphics controller instead. Would be especially helpful if your CPU is an Intel CPU with Intel integrated graphics, as those are the best GPUs for Linux-libre.

Try installing Resolution Switcher its in Add/Remove Applications. This should give you the option to select the correct resolution.
