Do you have experience with these, or a favorite?

Hopefully it's actually that good. I'll try and tell you about it when I can, unless someone else beats me to it.

Seems that in 2014 at least, it wasn't mature yet. Oh well, I'll probably try it anyway :)

Ah, I see that the dictation part is actually handled online...

Also, gnome seems on it too: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/GnomeVoiceControl

Well, there are some decent desktop control options, but the dictation part seems to need more time to mature.
For the record (pun intended), I tried on the latest OSX, it's not that good either, though it might get better with use (learning, like "Simon").

Either way, a fun feature.
